Prevent Damage when Installing Hardware

You may already use masking tape when laying out hardware locations, but you may be taking the tape off too soon. The last thing you want to do when you're finishing a project is damage it when you're installing the hardware. This tip will help you protect your project when you install the handle or pull.

Great tip. I've been doing this for awhile. It also helps to keep veneer from peeling back as you pull the drill bit out too.

thanks for the tape....i mean tip..ive had a slip or two happen recently and it took

10xs longer to sand and re finish the project then it does to take 15 mins with the tape method.
