SAN ANTONIO - by Randy Escamilla email: email@example.com
A San Antonio mom who was hit with a $1,000 bill from CPS Energy is getting some help.
CPS Energy initially blamed Julie Ramirez for having a broken meter at her apartment complex on San Antonio's South Side. Despite making regular payments, Ramirez received a bill from CPS Energy for $923.
This week, Ramirez received a letter from the Bexar County Department of County Resources informing her they will be paying her entire electric bill.
None of this would have happened, Ramirez said, if it was not for the help of WOAI-TV.
Thank God I called you all. Y'all helped me and because of this, they went ahead and helped me and they provided me with this assistance which they are going to pay for my bill, said Ramirez.
